After months of intensive rehearsals, its down to the final show at victoria theatre on the 20th (thurs). Im actually quite anxious & excited abt it! Its the last leg already and i can feel the pressure within us. The juniors have improved quite significantly and am proud of them! :) In the days to come i'll be missing sch cos of the day-night rehearsals at VT..i dont quite want to actually cos its the odd wk n i've alot of lessons this wk!
but well, its only down to 3 days n i guess we all want to make Ms Yong proud of us :) n also, we dont wana regret after tt for not practicing at the actual ground. thankyou to the 17+ p'ple who agreed to come support me! am very happy :))
I have many things to thank god abt n i've learnt time and again that i should learn to trust him more! I was really quite distraught when i realised i didnt get any placement from round1 of balloting and when i viewed the remaining projs left, all of which were either too far, or not the area i want to work in. And so tt night i sent several sms to my sisters and brothers in christ abt it. The next morning i called the dept only to find myself feeling worst after talking to the administrator cos she said someting like "you just have to take whats left". I called peace wong too, the proj coordinator, and soon, miraculously, they found out tt the computer didnt reflect accurately the remaining projs!
So after hrs, when i viewed the projs again n realised..my 1st and 2nd choice was in fact still available! i was really confused as to why i didnt get it in round 1..it must have some computer error again. But yes im really happy it was still available since i really want to do direct youth work! and tadah :D i got my first choice at round 2 of balloting..will be doing my internship at Salvation Army Bishan! woopee~ im quite excited abt starting my attachment hehe. its so near samuel's hse too! double joy :D
that's all for now as i've to quickly do my work and go to town to trim my hair and theres dance after tt till night. Schedule for the next few days will be:
Tues: 12-4pm school 6-10pm Rehearsal at Victoria Theatre
Weds: 12-2pm School (skipping my 2-4pm) 2-10pm FULL DRESS rehearsal at Victoria Theatre
Thurs: 830am report to AJ to take bus to Victoria Theatre ... ... ... lots of rehearsals in between ... ... .... 730pm PERFORMANCE!
really hectic schedule n theres no time to do homewk these few days! i hope my project grp mates forgive me! zZz
