My greatest condolences to
Cheston Chik Cheng Rui

an AJC senior,
whom i got to know at this yr's alumni concert- The Reunion.
he was the drummer at the concert,
and i thought he played really well.
afterall, not many p'ple will come back
to do something for their alma meter,
and i guess AJ was something to him :)

he passed away last night 21st Oct in the wee hours,
nobody know the exact cause,
cos no one was at the scene during his death
but they suspect it was an asthma attack followed by a heart attack.

he just celebrated his 21st bday in mid sept,
i can imagine how much he has to look forward to in his future
having almost completed his 1st semester at NTU engineering.
his tutorial fren was just saying how he was joking in class
during fri's tutorial..

was just speaking to chinglee,
he told me they were just jamming on sat, 20th Oct (the day before his death)
i'll never understand the exact pain of losing a brother,
but i noe how painful it is to lose someone without a single word of goodbye

he may not be a close friend,
or merely just a friend i had brief moments with at the concert..
but i do feel sadden by his sudden lost
it reminds me how fragile life is
that the ones u love so much may just go anytime, just any time.

shouldnt we learn treasure them all?
n remind them each day how much we love them
and thankful for having them in our lives?
we often keep all these within cos we assume they know,
only when its too late.

the AJ dance alumni will b there to send him off on weds night.

i pray tt he'll rest in peace
and i noe he will be
cos he's in the good hands of the father now :)
