im so glad wednesday is my free day! i realise i've just too many things to do n even my free days doesnt sound so free cos i'll b busy running errands! i didnt noe running errands can b so mind-bogging sometimes. hahaha oh wells..

anyways, i went to the Lion's Befrienders to help out in their morning activity this morning! I hafnt been there for 2yrs since i graduated frm AJC...it was the place my class did our SL at. The Lion Befrienders is actually a day care activity centre where elderly living in the neighbourhood wld come down to participate in the various programmes. Most of the elderly generally live alone (i just found out), so they're quite lonely p'ple. Its was really nice seeing familiar faces after so long! (MEOWMEOW, rmb ur hai nan aunty?? i heard she's 90+ yrs old u noe!!!)

actually u must be wondering why all of a sudden im back there again. well, actually its cos im current doing a social wk module on 'wking with older adults' and we have a 4000words term assignment to do on one individual elderly. so i tot instead of asking my grandma, it wld b nice to wk with someone i dont noe..i guess only then will i b more critical in my assessment of the person. but then again, the purpose of my visit is not solely for academic purposes..i was hoping my learning journey wld b more meaningful if eventually im able to successfully build rapport with them and maybe some skills i've learnt in the course? Who knows, i may fall in love wking with the elderly and mayb in future be mother thersa. hahahahah kiddinggggg. but yea, im thankful the centre's been so welcoming towards me :))

man, looking at my schedule for october..i simply feel so...(ok no words can describe it). okayy, mayb stressed..no, VERY stressed. All the projects due dates r bold in red on my calendar n they're like due back to back. Term test after my break next wk. Im looking forward to my cap advert photoshoot though. n i noe darling's looking forward to his ORD by then. You can imagine how jealous i'll b of him when hes so carefree while i live in my moutain of books/notes :(((((
