darling's such a sweetheart..he said he saw this very hot-looking dress in taiwan tt'll suit me n wanted to get it for me! HAHA tink too highly of me la huh. but he din dare buy it cos it was free size n was afraid it was too big or someting. its okie dear..im happy tt u thot of me :) we've been speaking on the fone every night n we spoke for 20mins 2nite! AHH looks lyk fone bills r gonna b horrifying :X no choice when we miss each other so much :(( sacrifices for the better. :X
anyway he's coming back on 16th morning..so YIPPIE!:D i'll get to see him the 1st ting in the morning..hope mum lets me drive so i can pick him..SO LOOKING FORWARD!! 24 more days :)
the youth mentoring prog is abt to end. n someting happened today which made me feel very blessed :) i dont tink it was a coincidence, but rather god's plan..as what darling said on the fone when i told him. i guess i made the right decision to attend church faithfully every sunday after darling n i spoke abt it one night, abt our future..tings haf been beginning to fall in place for me. im almost sure now, tt social work was a calling for me :)
was looking at the leaflet frm church last sunday after service..n tt dey're looking for childcare teacher. i was quite interested cos i was a student care tcher b4..n i thot mayb it wld b a gd job for the 4mths of my semester break, but it was just a passing thought.
den came today, when i was at the centre where i volunteered. as it was the 2nd last session, all the volunteers were catching up wif one another n all..happen to b toking to ivan cos i was quite impressed tt he chose to do social wk after being in the business line for several yrs..i wanted to noe wad sparked his interest. its always heartwarming to noe why p'ple pursue social wk..n likewise, i was proud of him :) suddenly the thought abt me looking for a part time job came into my mind n so, i asked if his wkplace had any vacancies..den he gave me his name card n guess wad?!? his wkplace is a centre affliated to the church im attending now. WOW. i mean of all church in singapore..it was so coincidental :)
so when i was on the fone wif darling just now..was tellin him abt what happened n my keen interest in working wif them during my semester break. he's really happy for me n feels i shld go take up a job there..so mayb i'll call the HR p'ple soon:)
