my sweetheart will be on exercise for the next 5days till weds :( shldnt whine abt it since its a 7 to 7, and still on this sunny island, singapore..:) take care dear, will miss ur absence..n most imptly, thanks for skipping trng last nite juz to spend more time with me..i was pleasantly surprised :)
this is gona b a longggg entry, so bear with me..got loads to share :)
anyway, im beginning to fall deeper in love with my business module..HAHA well, its solely cos i like the nature of the module-- the skills learnt which i tink wld b very applicable to life or career, very interactive n interesting too! im not a 'factual' kinda person. so i can only memorise things well IF they make sense to me, or rather, if they can be visualised easily:) hence, science is never my cup of tea even though i tink its interesting. sadly, my brain doesnt quite work that way eh..haha tts why im a SOCIAL science student.
well,it suddenly came across my mind tt i mite wanna consider doing a business minor since its offered. but theres lotsa complicated stuff to settle if i decide to take the route..HOWhowHOW?!
maybe i shld share a little abt my recent biz lesson. We did alot on self-actualization (ie. to know more abt yourself -- style of wking wif others etc) n the most amazing part was, the results for the various tests really reflects myself! i wld say its >90% accurate!!
"outgoing, friendly, and accepting. Exuberant lovers of life, people, and material comforts. Enjoy working with others to make things happen. Bring common sense and a realistic approach to their work and make work fun. Flexible and spontaneous, adapt readily to new people and environments. Learn best by trying a new skill with other people" --god, when i read tt..my jaw just dropped, cos it was so true! esp the part one how i value p'ple & life:) the only part im doubtful abt is the part on material comfort..haha
one more interesting thing to share! was signing our attendence today n i realise my tutor has added a colour bside each of our names..n later she explained what each of the 4 colours meant. in fact, the colours she assigned to each of us was based on our individual introduction during our 1st tutorial and the phrase we each had to choose, frm a list of 30 phrase, tt best represents us. well, the colour she assigned me was RED -- which supposedly means someone who's empathetic, feeling, spiritual, musical, communicator, interpersonal, warm, friendly, emotional and people orientated. im SOSO amazed how rather accurately she judged me without quite knowing me. The beauty of the human resource department. hehe :) so interesting man.
Thursday is supposedly, officially, my free day! but last thurs, i had to return to sch for RP..which kinda suck cos it only takes 1omins max?? but i guess, thursday ended up being a really fruitful day..cos i finally got to meet ruby, my senior frm campus crusade. never fail to enjoy each session we have, sharing with her my life, my deep-within problems & most imptly, she guiding me through this journey with god..something tt i yearned for:) its her last semester in NUS, n i'll miss her :( she promises to come back though! volunteering at night with convenant was great too. although my mentee cldnt turn up cos of prayer session, i helped the centre deliver stuff to the needy residence ard the hougang area..things like school bags & fans. driving ard was fun too! but most imptly, i felt satisfied at the end of the day..cos i noe i did something good :)
